ABOUT

This blog describes my adventures in Africa. In 2018, this will be my 4th trip to Africa. I traveled to Rwanda in March 2016, and Kenya and Tanzania in the Spring, 2015, and Kenya in 2010. On our journey, we'll be visiting schools, centers for people with disabilities, making friends, looking for animals and finding adventure wherever we go. Wahoo!!!!

Kalama Conservancy

Hello today i met my friends (that i told ms.Terhune about). Their names are Isaaco and Eli - can you guess who is who?

But the fun thing about today is…we went on a SAFRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  we saw these animals:Zebra, Oryx, giraffe, impala, elephant ,giselle,Dik-DIk,baboon,ostrich, cheetah,and a monkey.
Now thats AWESOME!!!!!!!

Do you know what these animals are?  If not, I’ll tell you about a few new ones to you.  Q.Do you know the difference between a monkey and a baboon?
A. A baboon is generally a lot bigger than a monkey.  Today, the monkeys were about one foot tall and the baboon was almost 2 feet tall. The monkeys’ faces were black and light fur on their bodies and the baboons were all black from their ears to their tails.

Q.  Do you know the difference between an Orxy, impala, giselle and a Dik Dik?
A. An Oryx is larger than an Impala.  An impala is larger than a giselle.  A giselle is a lot larger than a Dik Dik.  Impalas and giselles look the most the same. An Oryx has straight tall horns, an impala is browner and has shorter horns that have a bend, and only the male giselle has horns like an impala and the Dik Dik is very small and only the male has inch long horns.

Oh.  and in the morning a mongoose that looked like my cat in fast motion ran into my bedroom.  it might be under my bed!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                                   Kawhari

                                           Bye for now!!!

We just wrote you a loooonng message, but when we pressed "published" we lost it. AAAARRRRGGGHHHHH.
We were curious about whether you saw any animals riding 4-wheelers? And whether you had any lions in your bedroom? Are you eating African food? How is it? What is school like over there? Did you actually see the elephant you posted a picture of? What has been your favorite animal sighting so far?
We want you back now. Hurry up!!
